The location was ideal, just a short walk to the train station, which made exploring the city easy. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, showcasing quality traditional Marche products. the room, while spacious and clean, had aging fittings that could use an update, leaving a rather uninviting impression. Despite this, the bedding was fresh, providing a comfortable night's sleep.

Fantastic stay, lovely breakfast!
We stayed here for a night and it was lovely! Breakfast was super fresh with loads of fruit options, not your usual stuff. Staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Only downside was some noise from the next room. All in all, a nice place to relax after exploring Glasgow!

Had a lovely time here! The bar was a blast, and the breakfast really hit the spot. My only downside was that the room could have used a little more attention in the cleaning department. 😊

The Redhurst has charming staff and quite exquisite food, making it an enjoyable experience overall. the overall decor feels dated, and there were some issues with breakfast service that could be improved. Despite that, the welcoming atmosphere made for a pleasant stay.

Lovely free breakfast. no dinner availability was disappointing.

missingWrote a review on 08 Julcomfortable bedgreat snackspleasant staffinconsistent servicebanging doors
I stayed in a Standard Double Room at The Redhurst for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, with lovely toiletries provided. Enjoyed the hot shower with solid water pressure. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth. I appreciated the good selection of snacks available in the room. the bed was actually two singles pushed together, which I found a bit unusual. The dining experience was average. breakfast waitstaff seemed inconsistent, with my toast arriving quite late after I'd finished the main meal. A bit more focus from the service crew would enhance the overall experience. The location is charming but a bit distant from Glasgow's city center, making public transport a bit challenging if you don’t have a car. I heard some banging doors at night, which interrupted my sleep.

Comfortable Stay with Excellent Food
We enjoyed a lovely stay, with friendly staff and a cozy room. The standout was definitely the food. every dish we tried was delicious. A tip, check out the soup. it's fantastic! Rooms were warm at night, so be prepared for that.

The room was pretty comfy, with a huge bed and nice pillows. it was noisy since I was near the stairs and could hear people coming and going all night. The walls are thin, so I could also hear the TV from the next room until late. Not great for a good night’s sleep!

Friendly staff made our visit enjoyable, and the clean room was a highlight, equipped with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a real treat, offering a good selection with everything tasting fresh and satisfying. some areas could improve, such as the lack of a wider snack option in the room and the bar service occasionally being slow during peak hours.

The recent refurbishment has given the rooms a fresh and appealing aesthetic, enhancing the overall ambiance. The bar area offers a cozy pub-style vibe, and the food selection includes local favorites, ideal for casual bites after a long day.
The rooms vary significantly in size. some feel cramped, especially for couples who might find the beds pushed against the walls, which complicates getting in and out. No air conditioning in warmer months could make for an uncomfortable night, coupled with thin walls leading to noise disturbances from nearby events or guests yelling in the hallways at odd hours. While the breakfast includes a good variety, the options for more substantial items could be improved to match the offerings at chain hotels. the dining menu lacks diversity, which may frustrate guests with dietary restrictions.
